Welcome Letter

Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

Hello and welcome to my website, my name is Mrs. Marcy Robinson, and although I know that most of us have spoken in the past.  I wanted to take this opportunity to let you be on familiar terms with the fact that I know your child is your most prized possession. Therefore, I plan to treat him or her with respect in a caring environment.  Your child will spend part of their day receiving educational support in my classroom. I will also offer support with any needs they may have in their general education classroom.

I'd like to take some time to let you get to know me better. I have been teaching for 14 years at NEW HAVEN ELEMENTARY.  I began my schooling at Wayne State University, where I received my B.A. in education and certification for students with cognitive impairments grades K-12 and regular education K-8.  Later, I returned to school and completed my masters in the art of education through Marygrove College, so that I can better help your child reach his or her fullest potential. In my spare time I enjoy playing golf, geocaching, downhill skiing and playing cards with my family.

My mission is to motivate all children to believe in themselves, an to encourage them to acknowledge and appreciate their individual talents. I will also give them the skills needed to be productive citizens as well as model and teacher positive ethics, morals, and values.  I feel that parent communication is important to the success of your child.  Your support means a great deal to your child and myself.  I look forward to talking with you throughout the year.

Thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Marcy Robinson
