Professional Biography

Welcome to my classroom. My name is Mrs. Amanda Stier, and this is my tenth year teaching at New Haven Elementary School. During my first year of teaching, I taught Spanish to all of the children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. After one year of teaching Spanish, I moved to second grade, and have been there for the past nine years. Every year has been exciting and memorable, and I am so lucky to teach such wonderful children. New Haven Elementary is a great place where I truly enjoy being around such enthusiastic students, staff and parents.
With respect to my education, I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Oakland University with endorsements in both Spanish and Mathematics. I also obtained a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University.
